(I WAS LONLEY NOW YOU MAKE ME FEEL ALIVE)(WILL YOU BE MINE TONIGHT) ..................................................... (Lexie's). morning had felt like it would last forever. Lexie tapped her pen on her note pad as she watched the second had on the clock tick ever so slowly to its destination of eleven-fifty-four, which signaled the beginning of lunch period and her band auditions in the theatre. Lexie along with her best mate Garr started the band ‘Bota Anna’, and so now they needed some more people in order to make it a band. Her best girl, Lena, was already tagged as the lead singer because she was amazing like that. They got the name for the band randomly while doing a class project; they got bored half way through and started searching how to translate word from English into another language. For some strange reason they started translating into Swedish. And they came up with ‘Bota Anna’ which means ‘Now Your Gone’. They thought it sounded cool and it stuck.
Lexie was sitting in law class and Mr. Kyser was drowning on and on about the difference between mens rea and actus reas. Lexie just rolled her eyes at him. She learnt a lot from her lawyer brother. He would always come home and talk about work, but the case stuff, but what little he could tell her. She loved hearing about it, and took the class as easy marks, which it was. Lexie’s eyes wondered back the clock, it was still ticking away, and it sounded almost like a bomb. In just a few more ticks it would blow, well it was a few ticks away from eleven fifty-four. As Lexie watched it tick the last couple seconds away, not listening to Mr. Kyser give the days homework, she was the first to jump out of her seat at the sound of the bell. Lexie quickly rushed to her locker to drop off her books, which was thankfully on the way to the theatre. Since the theatre was her homeroom class, which Lexie loved. She fumbled with her lock for a moment before swinging it open, and almost hitting a kid passing by on his way to the cafeteria. Sorry she said as he gave her a weird look and kept walking. Lexie couldn’t help but laugh at the look the kids gave her, he looked to just be a freshman. And so she figured getting hit by a seniors locker wasn’t his idea of being welcomed into high school.
Lexie grabbed her sketchbook and her note book before booking it through the crowded hallways to the theatre. She hated how the school accepted more kids then clearly it could handle. Not only was the teacher to student ratio way off, but the hallway needed traffic lights and lane lines on the floor, just to keep things in order. And the fact that she was wearing heels that day to school wasn’t the best for running through the halls. She finally made it through the chaos and pushed through the big double doors into the auditorium. She was Loren was already there setting up some mics and getting some sound pieces set up, she was their sound and equipment assistant-tech, since she didn’t play any musical interments. There was a few kids waiting in the seats for their turn to try out. Lexie went into the back sound booth and grabbed her clipboard with her list of students trying out before jumping up onto the stage and checking things out. She didn’t see Garr or Lena yet but hoped that they would come soon so they could start. Lunch wasn’t as long as most students would hope. So Lexie wanted to start ASAP. She walked up to Loren Hey Lor, what do you have set up so far? she looked around and saw her keyboard out along with the drums, a mic and a guitar she recognized from the back.

·THE TURNS YOU HAD TO TAKE STILL KEEP YOU AWAKE · ,, DOWN COME THE WALLS WHERE YOU ONCE STOOD
garrett yawned... really loudly. in fact, the person who sat in front actually turned around for a split second, but garrett just shrugged. he glanced at the clock for the fifteen-millionth time in just the last five minutes. there was only like 30 seconds left till the bell for lunch, and garrett was no where close to even listening to the remaining few seconds of class. not that he paid much attention on a regular basis anyways. although he was slightly hungry, garrett would just have to make do with the energy drink he had stowed in his locker. today he promised to actually attend the band auditions, instead of just letting lexie do all the work, which was a constant habit of garrett's. the bell finally rung, and he was close to being the first one to shoot out the door, then again, most of the class did too. he made a quick stop at his locker, throwing in his notebook, and getting out his drink and iPod, he shut the locker and headed towards the theater. the iPod was for just incase, lillyton has been known to be home to a few interesting aspiring musicians, and garrett just wanted to make sure he had something to drown the noise out if he needed too.
garrett didn't make it to the theater quite as fast as he would have liked too. one it was a very long walk all the way from the science department to the arts, and then there were also the people that just had to stop garrett and talk. he just nodded and listened, replying with only one word answers, and then hurrying along again, only to be stopped by yet another fellow student. student council recruits were even roaming the halls, they stopped him and droned on about how he would make a difference in the world by signing the petition to stop testing on rats. he tried just worming his way around them, but ended up being cornered and basically forced into writing 'garrett boston' down on the sheet.
garrett sighed as he finally made it to the large metal doors that was the opening to the theater. he pushed them apart, and saw lexie already here. hopefully she wouldn't be too mad. even if garrett was one of the original creators of the band, along with lexie, it didn't mean he was a very responsible person, and lexie was definately always the one who does anything even slightly important. mainly because of the fact that garrett was a slacker, and lexie just plainly didn't trust him with anything, because most likely, he would screw it up. "sorry i'm late. the mobs in the halls are insane" garrett yelled across the theater at lexie, while making his way towards her. STATUS; fini MUSIC; pages, there for tomorrow WORDS; four six five CREDITS; SAFA ! of caution 2.0 for the template !

(I WAS LONLEY NOW YOU MAKE ME FEEL ALIVE)(WILL YOU BE MINE TONIGHT) ..................................................... (Lexie's). spun around to the sound of the theatre doors opening, where she saw Garr enter. Finally she thought to herself, before jumping off the top of the stage into the isle. sorry i'm late. the mobs in the halls are insane he said in his defense, oh ya were you bombarded by the rat people too she asked as she led him up the stages side stairs onto the stage. They still had some things to set up, and where still waiting for Lena to make her grand entrance. Even though Lexie and Garr were the creators of the band, Lena has an amazing voice so they named her the lead singer of the band. They were goofing around with a karaoke machine and discovered that Lena was a great singer. They often liked to play karaoke and Rock Band together. They were an interesting bunch when they were hanging out together.
That was a huge thing they needed to agree on. Since they together was a weird yet different group all together they needed to find other band mates that also worked into that mix. Lexie walked across that stage and grabbed the guitar that was set up, it wasn’t Garr’s guitar but it was still pretty nice, for a school guitar. She handed it to Garr before walking over to her keyboard. We need to test out the equipment first she said to Garr, once Lena gets here we will try a little run through. Until then just fiddle. Lexie knew Garr was good with fiddling since he did it none stop during practice. She shot him a smile as he started into a rift. Loren was still working on setting up the drum set, and some cords as they played. Lexie loved Loren as was happy that she was still apart of this.
Lexie turned on her keyboard and started pressing buttons and twisting knobs. They school didn’t have a keyboard so she brought her own for practice’s. She didn’t mind, she just got made when she found a coffee ring on the top of it. Her piano along with guitar was her babies. She loved them as if they were her babies. The music teacher apologized and said that he would clean it for her. Lexie didn’t mind all that much, its not like it was a brand new piano, she got it second hand and it had seen better days.
