• • • • •should i give up, or should i just keep CHASING PAVEMENTSeven if it leads nowhere? • • • • •Zephyr had his head rested on his desk as he listened to the teacher go on and on about something. Math was always the worst class of the day since the teacher was absoutely crazy. She was scatterbrained, always interrupted herself, lost papers like crazy, and not to mention she was a complete bitch and not even the other teachers liked her. Zephyr was pretty certain that he'd learned nothing the entire year from this woman, other than how to hide behind a bigger kid in front of him and sleep. That didn't take much time to learn to though, it was just common sense. Zephyr let out a loud sigh and pushed himself up and rested his chin on the palm of his hand as he glanced around the room. Half of the students were asleep and the other half were scrambling to write down the notes before they were erased. Sure enough the teacher erased half of them and started to re-write them when she realized that she had them wrong. One kid tore out the page and crumpled it up and tossed it on the ground before he started writing again and Zephyr nearly laughed at him. There was a reason why no one took notes for her class and that was it. She was constantly changing her mind.
The bell rang and Zephyr wasted no time in evacuating the room and rushed to the hallway where he was nearly trampled by the football team. It was something he was use to by now, after all, when you're less than half of the size of a football player it's like they don't even notice you. Zeph walked towards his locker with a mental shrug, it's not like they actually mattered to him anyways. They were probably going to end up fat and bald by the time they hit their thirties. Watch where you're walking buddy. Zephyr snapped at a kid that ran past him and almost made him fall over. The kid didn't even spare him a glance back and Zephyr was left rolling his eyes at no one. When he finally reached his gray locker he fumbled with the lock for a moment before he finally got it open. After three years you would think that he had finally learned a trick for the crappy thing to open and you'd be wrong. His locker was just absotuely impossible to open on the first try, you always had to mess with it for like four minutes and by that time he had to run to his class so he wouldn't be late which most of the time he was. Still, none of the teachers would believe his locker excuse even if he wasn't lying for once.
* sorry it's so short, gotta leave for a while and i have yet to get ready.

TELL ME DO YOU STILL HAVE PIECES OF MEcause i am not complete at all
THE HALLS SEEMED FLOODED, more so than usual, as Agyness pushed her small stature body through the crowd. Why must she be so small? It was one of those things that could not be changed, but Agyness wanted the most out of anything. If she could just have maybe two more inches on her. The upside to this, however, was she often was moved to the front of crowds and such. Like the time she was at the MIA concert over the summer. She was dancing and getting thrown around like crazy and some random guy who was huge grabbed her and protected her up against the stage. She wasn’t complaining when it happened, but she was removed from the center of the pit, which was no fun.
IT HAD TAKEN Agyness almost a full two minute to escaped the crowd leaving her first class. And of course her next class was on the other side of the school it seemed like. The dreaded math class. Aggy made a gesture with her hand as if saying “Whoopi!” as she thought about her next period. She did not even have friends in that class. Maybe she should make one. Then she would have someone to cheat off of right? Well that was her train of thought at least. In every class she found that one person who was at least a little bit smarter than her and make friends with them. This would lead to her having a “study buddy” to “not cheat off of”, but we all know in high school cheating is inevitable.
NOW THAT AGGY HAD a goal for her next period she hurried towards the hallway she needed to be in to reach class. On her way she stopped by her locker and jetted off to the ladies room for a clean up. Soon enough she reached the halls of the math room. Looking around she realized she had time to spare. “GREAT,” she muttered and pranced off down the hallway. She was not planning on going onto class early, but she really had nothing else to do. She had already gone to her locker. She had already gone to the restroom. All her friends were probably in other wings of the school by now. She really had nothing to do, but go into class early.
AS AGGY WAS ABOUT to enter the classroom something caught her eye. It seemed she had gotten to class so quickly that she had caught one of her favorite people leaving the previous class. The boy fumbling around in his locker probably wasn’t as fond of Aggy as she was towards him, but she really did not care. That was how Agyness Clark was. A lot of people hated her because she was so outgoing and without knowing she often made people mad. Such as when Aggy goes up to her guy friends and is her normal self – their girlfriends get angry at her. Aggy doesn’t get it. But in any matter, she was about to be her normal self to this boy she seemed to like. Hence, she back away from the door and let her body thud against the lockers where this boy was standing. “MR. ZEPHYR. FANCY SEEING YOU HERE.” she seemed to sing the words.

• • • • •should i give up, or should i just keep CHASING PAVEMENTSeven if it leads nowhere? • • • • •Oh come on you stupid piece of- Zephyr started before someone made a loud thud on the lockers next to him and he nearly jumped as he looked over. “MR. ZEPHYR. FANCY SEEING YOU HERE.” Agyness Clark. If he was certain she was a junior but they were the same age, still, he knew exactly who she is and he's ok with her. She doesn't get on his nerves as much as many girls do so she's ok in his book. Hey Agyness, how's it going? Zephyr asked as he messed with his locker before he took a step back and gave it a hard kick and tried once more to open it and smiled when it easily opened up. Sometimes you just had to get a little bit violent to get things to work for you and that saying was very much true for his locker. Well, it wasn't techinically a saying but it was one that Zephyr liked to use because it was a good excuse out of anything. After tossing his books in and grabbing out a single notebook and his pencil he looked back over at Agyness. So, what class do you have next? Zephyr asked trying to start up a conversation since he really didn't know what to talk about. Zephyr was pushed forward lightly and he quickly turned and flipped his friend off that was laughing as he walked past and Zephyr then shook his head before looking back at the girl next to him. She was pretty, he supposed but she wasn't exactly the type of girl that he normally went for. In fact, the girls that he went for were usually a bit of whores and flirted with anyone who moved. Not to mention that they barely even wore clothing during the winter. They never got in trouble for it though, in fact the principal or any of the teachers never mentioned a word about it to them. He couldn't understand.
Zephyr looked around and noted that the halls were getting a little bit less dense and was grateful for that since he knew that he would be running to his next class which was upstairs but at the moment he didn't really care. After all, it was only government and who honestly wants to be in government? He knew for a fact that the teacher hated his job since he had told them on more than one occasion. Zephyr didn't blame him though because they enjoyed it just as much as he did. Except they had to at least pass otherwise they wouldn't graduate. You're a junior, right? It didn't really matter to him what grade she was in to tell the truth but he still wasn't certain that he was right and it was driving him insane. Still, he was almost fifty percent certain that he was correct and that she was a junior but she didn't look like one. But then again, did anyone really look like they were in the correct grade? Some girls wore so much make-up and such slutty clothes that you honestly couldn't tell. Luckily though, Agyness didn't seem to be one of those girls and was probably capable of having an actual converstaion. Well, if he really wanted to listen to it then she probably was able to.

TELL ME DO YOU STILL HAVE PIECES OF MEcause i am not complete at all
AGYNESS WATCHED AS Zephyr kicked his locker with what seemed like sedated anger. His question lingered in her ears as she did not answer him, unconsciously of course. Agyness met his pleased smile with a smile of her own. His small act of violence did not effect Aggy really. She was sort of used to it by now. She had an older brother who was much like Zephyr in her opinion. Not matter how weird that might be, seeing as Agyness had a massive crush on the boy beside her. Though, of course, she hid this fact. Well, not really hid. It was more like she never has said anything about the subject. No one has ever noticed her subtle flirting and constant seeking out of Zephyr. Such as was the situation here. Even though they did not talk much, Aggy thought this senior boy was all that and a big bag of Doritos, cool ranch flavored. ”OH, I’M FINE ZEPHYR DEAR. AND YOOUU?” Once again her voice came out with a melodic tone. She often talked like this. It was her new “thing” to do when she was having a casual conversation. ”MATH,” she said nonchalantly, also not waiting for him to answer her previous question.
LETTING A SMALL laugh out as Zephyr was pushed, Aggy smiled, but made it disappear as quickly as it had come. She did not want to look like she liked Zephyr getting pushed or that she cared his friend had pushed him (for the reason of pointing out Zephyr was with her?). Agyness looked away from the boy as he turned back. ”JUNIOR I AM.” Agyness’ mind was off in another world. Probably daydreaming of something random that was likely (or likely in her mind) to happen in the duration of the conversation, or lack there of, she was currently having. ”I KNOW YOU’RE A SENIOR. EVERYONE KNOWS THAT. WHAT CLASS DO YOU HAVE NEXT?” She tried to keep an interesting conversation as they stood there. All the while, the school halls becoming less and less occupied. At her words, Aggy’s thoughts jumped to Zephyr being known around school. She did not actually know if he was well known or popular, but she figured he was. In her mind he was at least.
THE BELL WAS ONLY seconds from ringing now. The classroom Zephyr had left, also the one Aggy was supposed to be in by now, was filling up. Her usual seat was probably already taken, but it did not really matter to Aggy. She was content for the few moments she was having with Zephyr. She giggled at his name. She had never really thought about it before (other than when she first heard it). It was so foreign sounding, almost like it was from a fairytale. However, Agyness knew something most people did not know. The boys name came from Greek literature. It was the name of the god of the west wind. And no, she did not go home and Google the name. The fact was she paid attention in English class her sophomore year when they were studying Greek mythology.
